THE RESONANCE

Where Does the Physical World End and the Ripple Begin?

Concentric Optical Field

ARTIST: YAKULTJI NAPANGARTI | TRIBE: PINTUPI

REGION: Central & Western Desert | BORN: c. 1970

Hypnotic concentric linework capturing ancestral journeys around sacred claypans and soakage sites. The micro-deviations in line spacing generate an intense optical shimmer (kurtitji), vibrating with ceremonial presence across the surface.

Water Dreaming (The Deep Resonance)

ARTIST: CASSANDRA STEWART | TRIBE: SOUTHERN ARRENTE

STORY: Water Dreaming | BORN: c. 1984

Tightly bound concentric circles radiating outward in warm earth tones from a singular origin node. Captures how a single point of energy—such as water striking a desert pool—disperses steadily and perfectly outward through the earth.

THE UNIVERSAL COMPARATIVE: SACRED GEOMETRY & SPACETIME METRICS

Charles Gilchrist Sacred Geometry Mandala

SACRED GEOMETRIC MANDALA

Artwork by Charles Gilchrist (Sacred Geometry)

Dynamic four-quadrant wavefield radiating outward from a singular focal origin. Demonstrates how nested rectilinear and rotational harmonics produce perceptual depth and portal geometries, mirroring ancient vibrational traditions through contemporary mathematical art.

Gravitational Wave Spacetime Curvature Simulation

SPACETIME METRIC RIPPLES (GRAVITATIONAL WAVES)

Numerical Relativity Simulation (LIGO / Einsteinian Spacetime Mechanics)

In 1916, Albert Einstein predicted that cataclysmic events—such as colliding black holes—would send concentric ripples through the fabric of spacetime. Gravitational waves propagate outward across billions of lightyears, stretching and compressing the coordinate grid through which they travel.

Whether observing a single drop striking a desert waterhole, a geometric mandala constructed through sacred mathematics, or the collision of black holes warping the cosmic grid, the physics of wave dispersion remain identical. These masterworks demonstrate that First Nations understandings of how life and energy ripple through Country intuitively mirror modern astrophysics.
